The well-proven vehicles of the Carrier range are designed to meet the highest demands. Based on an ingenious modular system, they have a firmly specified high-quality standard equipment and are usually available ex stock. Technical changes may be carried out in a limited scope.

Chassis: Chassis made of large-volume rectangular tube 250 x 150 mm/ height-adjustable drawbar for high or low hitch position, flanged drawbar eye 40 mm DIN 11 026 or alternatively 80 mm ball head coupling / hydraulic support foot with double-acting ram, 6/2 way valve to combine support foot <> hydraulic rear tailgate/ Faust tipping bearings with exchangeable brass bushes, backlash-free/ hole pattern G 140 for rear trailer coupling/ 20 t parabolic springs with compensator, mounted on the axles for optimum ground clearance, very low construction height/ BPW axles with automatic slack adjusters (ASA)

Body: Sidewalls 3 mm, floor plate 4 mm, both in one piece, material quality S355/ top frame made of rectangular tube 100 x 80 mm/ waterproof welded middle and end stanchions/ huge inspection window 72 x 47 cm in the headboard in lattice structure and with galvanized cover plate/ hydraulic opening rear tailgate with automatic pressing system laterally by means of locking hooks, locking block valve with load safety valve, additional block ball valve at front/ large discharge outlet 46 x 34 cm (W x H) with long dosing lever, usable on the right or left hand side/ detachable aluminium access ladder at headboard/ strong rubber supports between body and chassis/ bolted mudguards adjustable in width with a steep angle of attack and therefore self-cleaning.

Other: 40 km/h homologation according to type approval EU (VO) 167/ 2013/ operating instructions/ robust lamp housing with pointed roof at vehicle rear, high-quality rear lights with shock-resistant lens, LED lighting system, white front position lamps, yellow side marker lamps, rear position lights/ exchangeable, modularly designed rear underride guard/ shot peened frame/ painting 2-component paint in Krampe-red (similar to RAL 3002) satin-finish

Chassis Expertise

The Krampe brand stands for top-class chassis and is the benchmark in the market for driving comfort and safety. This chassis expertise is also reflected in the extensive delivery program and the tire options for the vehicles. High-quality BPW axles are installed as standard. Our chassis are not off-the-shelf, but are individually tailored to the desired application.


Robust and durable

Our BigBody tippers are made from high-quality steel and are weight-optimized. The floor plate and the side walls are made of a single piece. The side beams channel the forces from the floor group to the top frame.

The top frame itself is made of solid rectangular tube (100×80×5 mm). A completely smooth body finish that withstands quite a bit. All components are welded waterproof all around.

We guarantee a maximum of transport efficiency.


corrosion-resistant construction

The undercarriage is strongly ribbed, and the body supports consist of solid rectangular tubes (200x100 mm) with smooth inner surfaces. The struts, center, and corner posts under the body are welded all around to prevent corrosion.


Frame made of closed rectangular tube

We exclusively use fully enclosed rectangular tubes made of particularly high-quality steel, avoiding cheap pressed steel or welded constructions. The large-volume rectangular tube saves weight, is torsionally rigid, has no open joints or crevices, and is therefore easy to clean. The tubes are welded together in a waterproof manner. Visually, the chassis leaves a very good and neatly arranged impression. A Krampe chassis will never collapse, even if you want to move mountains!
