New THL 16 L Carrier+ and THL 20 L Carrier+ Models
Equipped with a caster steering axle as standard
Krampe is building on its successful Carrier range with two new models: the THL 16 L Carrier+ and the THL 20 L Carrier+. Both models are delivered with a steering axle as standard and offer better manoeuvrability and flexibility.
Due to the high demand for steering axles in the hooklift trailer segment, Krampe has now added the tried-and-tested BPW caster steering axle to the Carrier series too. The THL 20 L Carrier got a great reception at Agritechnica 2023. As the demand for the bestselling THL 16 L remains strong, it has been incorporated into the Carrier series too – both models are now available as THL 16 L Carrier+ and THL 20 L Carrier+. These vehicles offer proven Krampe quality with a favoured equipment package, at a preferential price and fast availability. They will be available from 2025.

The new models have a pneumatic running gear with automatic lowering, a BPW caster steering axle and are designed to reach speeds of 40 km/h and 60 km/h.
Just like the Krampe running gears, the steering axles from BPW are also manufactured with specialized expertise. The overhead brake cylinders enable a high ground clearance. All Krampe vehicles also come with an automatic slack adjuster, a large wheel brake measuring 410 mm x 120 mm and a 120 mm square axle as standard. The BPW self-steering axle can easily be converted to forced steering when needed.
Krampe vehicles have COC type approval and so meet the necessary approval criteria.
Optimal equipment for varied requirements
The new Carrier+ models are equipped with the established HYVA hook device and have a range of standard features that makes them far easier to use in the field and on the road: The vehicles have an integrated roll-off tipper which has a lower rolling height and empty weight.
In addition, a more powerful push arm and four support rollers are now part of the standard equipment.
New features for the 2025 versions
The THL 20 L Carrier is getting an update for 2025: The tongue load will be enhanced, allowing for a one-ton increase in the permissible total weight (GVWR). This adjustment reflects Krampe's goal to continuously improve their vehicles and ensure that they continue to meet the needs of their users.
The new THL Carrier+ models will be available from model year 2025 and offer a combination of tried-and-tested technology and modern equipment for a high degree of efficiency and flexibility in daily use.
