New area sales managers join the Krampe sales team
Building closer relationships with customers and dealers is something that is really important to the German vehicle manufacturer. In order to strengthen the consulting services and marketing activities in the countries to the west of Germany, two new area sales managers have joined the Krampe team.
Since the beginning of November, Christian Buiël is part of the team. Born in the Netherlands but with German roots, Christian grew up in his parent's agricultural machinery business and so has had a close connection with agricultural machinery since he was a young boy. "Even today I still help them out sometimes on weekends and can often be found with a pressure washer in hand or behind the wheel of a forklift truck," he shares.
After completing a bachelor's degree in "International Food Business" in the Netherlands and Canada, the 30-year-old did a master's degree in agricultural management in Wageningen. He started his professional life as a project and account manager in the agricultural industry, first in New Zealand and then in the Netherlands, before joining the team at Krone. He then spent three years there coordinating marketing projects and image campaigns for the Netherlands and Belgium. His most recent position was as global marketing manager with the APH Group.
"The move to sales really appealed to me because I find it exciting to be out in the field, working on expanding sales in the Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain and Ireland," explains Christian. "It's almost like I'm going back to my roots, to selling agricultural machinery."
Since the summer, the Krampe team has also been strengthened in France by Morgan Segrétain, who serves as Area Sales Manager for western France.
Morgan Segrétain got his start in the agricultural industry with a work-study programme with New Holland where he worked in sales. After earning a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in marketing, he spent six years working in project management and after-sales at the vehicle manufacturer Jungheinrich in Germany, Belgium, and France, where he occupied the roles of rental fleet manager and key account manager.
The 33-year-old German lived in Germany, Spain and Austria before moving to western France, where he now advises Krampe dealers and customers in the area. He works alongside his colleague Pascal Chont, who is responsible for area sales in eastern France. Morgan brings a wealth of experience from the agricultural and vehicle construction sectors with him.
"Some of my relatives have a farm, so I have always had a strong connection to agriculture. I'm looking forward to taking on my new tasks, facing fresh challenges and working closely with dealers and customers," says Morgan.
By expanding its team, Krampe is well prepared to further develop its activities in western export markets and deliver focused advice and support to both customers and dealers.
